Restoring the reminiscences of 18th-century decoupage craze. This is the craft originated through Artisans in Florence, Italy who have produced decorative objects using decoupage techniques.
Decoupage is an enticing art by embellishing an object by gluing paper cutouts onto it in combination with special paint effects and other decorative elements. Each layer is sealed with varnishes (often multiple coats) until the “stuck on” appearance disappears and the result looks like painting or inlay work.
